Happy New Year Everyone. We hope you had a great time - we certainly did! Way too much food, some lovely, lovely presents and a bit too much time off…Anyway, we are back on the straight and narrow and thought that the above link to one of our teaser trailers would help to convince you that we are still alive and well. More coming soon!
Ok, first and formost - Merry Christmas everyone! We’re very much looking forward to the break. We hope you get everything that you wanted. All we want is one (or all) of these. Anyway, a quick bit of news before we down tools for Christmas. Our latest and (arguably) greatest teaser trailer is now available to be seen right here. We have also got Laura and James’ single camera edit all sent off before Christmas (the teaser for which you can see here), so hopefully it will be with them sometime during the holidays. We’ve spent a great deal of time and effort coordinating our advertising for next year too, and you can find various Memory Lane links here, here, here, etc etc. We’re going to have a nice Christmas break, and then hit the New Year with a bang! We’ll be editing Gillian and Chris, a lovely wedding we covered a month or so ago, and we will also be offering 25% off on all bookings until the end of January.
As I was saying, we’ve had quite the time over the last few months. We were involved in the production of a music video with our sister company, Gentle Giant Productions, for the Glasgow based band Suspire, which was broadcast on Canadian television last month. Since then, we have had a whale of a time - rocking Hampshire and Glasgow southside in under 12 hours (don’t ask how we did it…) The photos above are from the wedding reception of Nigel and Maria, which was truly incredible, and from the bridal show put on by Christie Couture (cakes by Guilty Pleasures). The promotion video we’ve been putting together for Christie Couture will be hitting your screens very soon , and we’ve got a little stack (just a little one…) of edits to get through in the next few weeks to keep us busy, and of course - Gillian’s big day to shoot in just over a week. All set for Christmas? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0N8axp9nHNU (on a grander scale, but not as good as last year.)
Sorry to be away so long folks - we committed one of the seven deadly sins - putting the blog on the back burner. We have been busy (honest!) and have got loads to share with al of you. But for now, check out the video of Maia’s birthday trip to the South of France that we shot during the Summer.
A few quick stills from our Baz and Neeru edit - an amazing day with an incredible ceremony at the Hare Krishna Temple in London (which was owned by the Beatles in the swingin’ 60s! You learn something new every day…) - Best wishes to the happy couple!
Just back from another hard few days at the office - a three day trip on Lake Garda, filming Colin’s 60th birthday festivities. Quite an event! We thought we should share these images of what was a stunning venue and beautiful surroundings. The sun never stopped shining, and the everything went to plan. We’ll be reviewing our footage in the edit suite until Saturday, when we have the weddings of Lorraine and Alvin and Baz and Neeru on opposite sides of the border. Keep up to date with our various sources - Twitter, Facebook and website - for more regular updates and highlights of all of the Memory Lane films.
A busy, busy week behind us. Flew out to Lake Como for the wedding of Mike and Jessica, who had come all the way from Las Vegas, and asked us to join them. Picturesque scenery, intimate ceremony, and most of all, a fantastic couple. Next stop, a quick dash up to Scotland for Bride and Groom number two, Kirsty and Derek, with a stunning hilltop ceremony, with views to rival Como, and a really special evening. 48 hours of international weddings - a Sunday morning lie-in was much appreciated!
